Unfortunately, Louisa Ermelino, Reviews Director for Publishers Weekly was unable to attend at the last minute. We hope to catch her next time.
Everyone who attended loved the event and had a wonderful time. Sharon Goldfinger of PeopleSpeak said, “the energy at the tea was very positive. Everyone was talking with each other, networking, exchanging ideas, and catching up. In past years I’ve seen people start to leave after the honored guests are introduced. This year when I left at 6:55 to go to a dinner appointment, just about everyone else was still there networking.”
Randy Peyser of Author One Stop shared,” …one of your best events ever! I loved the format, which allowed ample time for schmoozing with the media and with everybody else. This format allowed people to be much more accessible than ever before. You all did an outstanding job and the location was ‘fun.’ The old oak tables and chairs and the Dewey Decimal system filing cabinets/food arrangement was certainly novel (no pun intended!). All the people seemed really friendly and accessible. Great job! I plan to see you again at next year’s event!
A special thank you to all of our guests and attendees and especially to Anita Halton of Anita Halton Associates and Caroline O’Connell of O’Connell Communications for reaching out to our honored guests.
